This project had two purposes. The first was to learn the difference between the various types of patterns and ornaments in the dominant cultures of the world. The second part was to then show this comparison in an easily identifiable format. If you'll notice, each section has colored squares and a colored background. The colored squares match up with the colored backgrounds to help show which pieces are alike.
